In 2026, we found ourselves stuck in a workflow that felt both tedious and unavoidable: constantly converting images between formats, one file at a time, across different projects and clients. The tools that existed were either painfully slow, awkward to use, or simply not built for the way real work actually happens. We tried stitching together free converters, desktop apps, and command-line scripts, but nothing fit. Eventually, doing it manually stopped being an option, so instead of searching for a solution, we decided to build one.

ImgDeal started as a straightforward image converter, but it did not stay that way for long. Because we were using it ourselves every day, we kept running into connected problems - resizing, reformatting for the web, handling batches instead of single files. Each feature grew out of a real frustration, not a product planning session. Batch processing came first because converting files one by one never actually solved the problem. The platform expanded tool by tool, problem by problem, shaped entirely by practical use rather than assumptions about what people might want.

Today, ImgDeal is a growing set of image utilities built for people who work seriously with files and cannot afford to waste time on repetitive tasks. Our mission is straightforward: make image processing fast, accessible, and genuinely useful without forcing anyone to install software, create an account, or navigate an interface bloated with features they never asked for. We are still the same people who built this out of personal necessity, and that keeps us honest. Every tool we add has to earn its place by solving something real.
